Axelle-portrait

Axelle

Axelle Borealis is the pseudonym of Alexandra Soulard Berthomé.
Born in 1976, she unveiled her first canvases and painting performances in 1994, on the Nantes electronic scene.
In 2000, she began painting on bodies and designing characters. During 12 years of experience in the fields of stage, opera, film and photography, as an artistic make-up artist and decorative painter, the most important thing for her will remain her artistic expression and her creations.
After years also spent working alongside expectant mothers with her “Les Fées mères” project (since 2001), body painting as a tool for self-connection and personal development became an obvious choice for AXELLE.
Since 2014, AXELLE has invested herself in her art, which is as much artistic as it is therapeutic. She becomes aware of the vibratory level of her canvases, of the beneficial and energetic effect of her painting on people and places.
She gave it the name Soul Painting in 2017.
The experience showed her the direction her art was taking and its depth, and in 2020, adding felt-tip to paint, she re-designated her pictorial art as meta-dimensional.

It’s a birth gift that enables her to use her art as a channeling, therapeutic and healing tool.
Her gift? To go into the Akashic annals, or from a more “rational” point of view, to read meta-dimensional memories as if from a book. Even if she doesn’t necessarily need paint to “capture”, it gives an extra vibration, acting as a link, a bridge between the spiritual and the material. Painting and drawing propagate their energy as long as the creation exists.
