Discovering Axelle Borealis,
Visionary Artist of Contemporary Mystical Art
Axelle, born in 1976, emerged on the art scene in 1994, in the electronic world of Nantes, with her first paintings and performances. In 1996, she unveiled her first exhibitions, revealing a passion for painting that goes back to her childhood. This art form enables her to express the subtle worlds she captures and paints on the walls of her bedroom and in her notebooks.
Artistic awakening and professionalization
Self-taught until 2004, Axelle’s unique approach to painting is seen as a means of connecting and revealing the invisible. In 2000, she explored body painting and character creation, enriching her art. Her professionalization in 2004 as an artistic make-up artist and decorative painter specializing in trompe l’oeil marks the start of a diversified career in stage, opera, film and photography, collaborating with personalities such as Thierry Mugler, The Gorillaz, and prestigious venues such as the Paris opera houses.
Artistic expression for well-being
Guided by a quest for well-being and harmony, Axelle creates high-vibration, multidimensional experiences, combining canvas painting, murals and body painting. Her art, focused on self-connection and personal development, gave birth to the Soul Painting concept in 2017. She offers individualized sessions on canvas or on the body, integrating energetic and artistic concepts that she teaches through her Soul Painting Borealis method.
A Mystical and Contemporary Artist
Axelle is a natural member of the contemporary mystical art movement. Her work, done automatically with acrylics, conjures up characters, landscapes, animals and writing, capturing the multi-dimensions of the living. Preferring large formats, his immersive exhibitions invite the public to connect deeply and journey through his canvases.
