The process: an encounter before a creation

Everything begins with listening.
At the first meeting, Axelle observes — the materials, the colours, the volumes, the light, the atmosphere, and the function of the space. What the place is, as much as what it must embody.
She absorbs the DNA of the project: the image the client wishes to project, what they want to convey — focus, dynamism, serenity, prestige, or a singular theme. Each intention calls for one or several distinct works.

Axelle works in the studio or on site, depending on the constraints of the space and the ambition of the project:

• On stretcher frame — classic format, easy to install and move
• On canvas marouflaged or stapled to the wall — for large-scale pieces, without disrupting the space during creation
• Directly on the wall — mural painting in situ, total fusion
• On kakemono — flexibility and lightness
